AI isn't going anywhere, whether we like it or not. It can speed up the boring stuff, but great design still needs a human eye. Strategy, creativity, and knowing when something just feels too AI are things no prompt can replace.

As someone prone to creative blocks and burnout, AI turns out to be a pretty helpful tool for getting ideas flowing again. It speeds up the brainstorming process, but the best ideas still come from refining and building on those ideas myself.

Coming from a professional AI slop hater, consistency is so important when using AI, from typography, colour, icons, imagery (and everything else). AI tends to miss the details that make a brand feel polished, which is where a designer’s eye makes the real difference.
